Effective August 3, 2021, in accordance with Alameda County Health Officer Order No. 21-03, all visitors to the Livermore Public Library who are 2 years of age and older are required to wear a mask during their entire stay.

Because of the requirement for masking at all times, eating is not currently allowed at the library.

Visitors unable to comply with the above masking requirements are offered the following alternative service options:
Reference Assistance and Reading Recommendations Outside
A staff member can meet with you outside the front of the library in order to identify what you are looking for, enter the library on your behalf, and check out and bring your items to you.
For patrons experiencing mobility issues or if you prefer not to enter the library and have items being held for you, you are welcome to call the library branch and staff can assist you. After you have been notified that your hold is ready, visit any time. Current hours are:
