After 30+ years of service, Fire Chief Jeff Peters Retires.

Chief Peters was born and raised in Livermore, CA. He began his career in fire service in 1990 as a Volunteer Firefighter for the City of Livermore. He was hired as a paid Firefighter in 1992. Jeff has promoted through the ranks of Firefighter, Engineer, Captain, Battalion Chief, Deputy Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief.

He has been an active community service member throughout his professional career, serving as Assistant Coach for Granada Girls Soccer, a volunteer for the Livermore Firefighters Foundation, and a board member for City of Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy.

He is a member of the California Fire Chiefs Association, Alameda County Regional Emergency Communication Center Operations Section, and East Bay Regional Communications System Authority

Chief Peters holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Science from St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA. He is also a graduate of Pleasanton Leadership, Legacy Livermore, and Alameda County Leadership Academy.

He resides in his hometown of Livermore, California with his wife, Kelly and two daughters, Kassidy and Sheridan.
