The Livermore Police Department is holding our First Annual Holiday Greeting Card contest. Do you know a young Livermore artist? The Livermore Police Department is looking for Livermore youth 14 years of age or younger to submit original artwork for our official Livermore Police Department holiday greeting card. Entries will be accepted from November 1st to November 22nd. In addition to having his/her artwork featured on the LPD website and social media sites during the holidays, the winning artist will receive a $50 gift card.
Submissions can be in color or black and white. Any medium or combination of media may be used, including line drawing, crayons, watercolor, oil, acrylic paint, pastel, chalk, etc. Artwork must be an original creation. Submissions shall be no larger than 8 ½” x 11” in size. A signed entry form is required with each submission. Entry forms can be downloaded below or picked up at the police station lobby.
The cities of Livermore and Pleasanton are co-sponsoring application workshops for the following programs for Fiscal Year 2019-2020: Livermore Housing & Human Services Grant. Pleasanton Housing & Human Services Grant and Community Grant/Youth/Civic Arts Program. Staff will discuss each program requirements and provide an overview on how to submit an application online.
The Human Services Commission is seeking public and local social service agency input. In order to better understand current community needs, the challenges service providers face, and to identify emerging human service needs, trends, and collaboration opportunities, the Human Services Commission wants to hear from you at two Community Needs Assessment Workshops.
The City of Livermore prohibits all commercial cannabis activities with a limited exception for the delivery of medicinal cannabis from a properly licensed dispensary outside Livermore to qualified patients and primary caregivers in Livermore.
